Commissions

Perhaps you have a special flower arrangement, or a bunch of your favourite flowers from the garden .... or maybe a view of your garden that you would like me to paint for you?

I have recently completed a commission of cats, and a painting which shows favourite flowers in a clients' garden over a year (image below).
I was commissioned by Ian Rankin and Miranda Harvey to paint some of their favourite garden flowers. Current commissions include a collection of orchids.

You are welcome to visit my studio to discuss the proposed painting: size, subject, style etc and to see other examples of my work. I e-mail an image of the finished painting for you to approve (or otherwise!) before arranging framing. At this point I ask for a deposit to cover the cost of the frame, and the balance on delivery of the painting. The cost of the frame is removed from the price if you wish to arrange framing yourself. I have been told that the process of commissioning a painting is 'much less painful than (I)expected' so don't be anxious!
